Bullying in the news

Bullying has been getting a lot of press coverage this week, town hall meetings on CNN and at least a full minute and every local and national channel that I have seen so far. In totally over the past 6 years the numbers have not toped 100, 1 life lost to nonsense is tragic and can't be tolerated. If you get your news online, you will see that our children are being killed and killing each other and "NO ONE" is saying a thing publicly. No rappers, no politicians, no ministers, no activist, nobody! According to FBI stats black men made up 40 percent of all murder victims in 2008. 40% of all murders, for a group that accounts for only 6-8 percent of the nation's population. 460 black males (15-24) have been killed this year in chicago, 179 in NOLA, 102 in Detroit, 100 in Oakland . . . We have to place our children's well being at the top of OUR priority list. Doing whatever it take to keep them safe and provide a better future for them. I'm so afraid for my sons, I barely know what to do. I have to save all the kids to keep my kids safe, please help me give our kids self awareness. Let us show our children the powerful minds, committed brave hearts, loving souls that we are. I'm ready to do what ever it takes . . .
